Jenn Palilonis
Director
Jenn Palilonis is the director of the Center for Emerging Media Design and Development at Ball State University. She holds a Ph.D. in human-computer interaction from the Indiana University School of Informatics and Computing. Palilonis led the team that developed First Point Volleyball Foundation’s nationwide storytelling campaign and is the author of two books: A Practical Guide to Graphics Reporting and The Multimedia Journalist. She received the National Journalism and Mass Communication Teacher of the Year Award in 2013.
Her spouse, Jim Palilonis, is head coach of the Northern Kentucky men’s volleyball team. She was also one of the founding board members of First Point Volleyball Foundation.
