Doug Beal
Director
Doug Beal played on the U.S. Men’s National Team from 1970 to 1976 and served as the team’s head coach from 1977 to 1984 and again from 1994 to 2004. He led the team to its first-ever Olympic gold medal in 1984. He also coached Mediolanum in Milan for two seasons, winning the FIVB Championship in 1990. Beal has been inducted into the International Volleyball Hall of Fame and is a recipient of the Harold T. Friermood Award, USA Volleyball’s highest honor. From 2005 to 2016, he served as CEO of USA Volleyball.
